For your first visit, we’d love to give you a tour of our clean, new office! You’ll meet Dr. Chris and the team. Dr. Chris is a board-certified pediatric dentist, meaning he has extra training in caring for children. We customize our visits to you and your child – our goal is to be as gentle as we can so that your child loves coming to see us. If your child doesn’t want to sit in the dental chair, that’s okay! If your child isn’t ready for a full cleaning, no worries! We meet kids at their comfort level. We will talk to you about your child’s oral health and if there is anything to be concerned about, and we answer all your questions. In the end, your child will get a fun prize and leave with a smile!
An enjoyable visit starts before you walk through our doors. Before your visit, it is best not to use any concerning or fearful words. We recommend avoiding words like “pain”, “drill”, or “shot”. Treat the visit as an exciting event! Let your children know that going to a pediatric dentist can be a great experience.
At Molar Bear Pediatric Dentistry, we recognize that each child is unique. If your child is nervous, we may skip certain parts of an appointment. We never hold children down or push them beyond what they are comfortable doing.
